Partial Compulsory Redemption of Shares

Following the redemption of 12,908,729 Redeemable Ordinary Shares of No Par Value ("Ordinary Shares") at a rate of 92.96 pence per Ordinary Share on 30 November 2017 (as previously announced on 15 November 2017), the Company now has 104,345,215 Ordinary Shares in issue. With effect from today the Company's Ordinary Shares will trade under the new ISIN number GG00BYQKQC52.

On this basis, a holder of 10,000 Ordinary Shares will have 1,100 Ordinary Shares redeemed, and receive £1,022.56 in cash. Approximately 11% of the issued capital was redeemed.

In conformity with the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (DTR 5.6.1), the Company notifies that the Company's issued share capital consists of 104,345,215 Ordinary Shares. No Ordinary Shares are held in Treasury, therefore the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in the Company is 104,345,215.

This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (DTR 5.1.2).

It is expected that the proceeds of the redemption will be paid through CREST to holders of Shares in uncertificated form, and paid by cheque to holders of Shares in certificated form, on 13 December 2017.
