Park to launch flex e-gift digital gift cards
Park (AIM: PKG.L), the UK's leading gift voucher and prepaid gift card provider, today announces that it has reached an agreement with US-based Giftango Corporation, adding digital gift cards to the Company's expanding range of Love2reward and Love2shop rewards and incentive products.
Building on the success of Park's innovative flexecash® prepaid cards, the flex e-gift digital gift card will be rolled out to Park's 6,000 strong corporate client base initially, and will allow a digital version of the flexecash® product to be delivered via email and SMS on smart phones.
Giftango will securely deliver the flex e-gift card in real-time and customers will receive a fully personalized digital gift card, including card number, security number and expiry date via email and SMS. The digital gift cards can be printed from a PC, or displayed at the point of sale on consumers' smart phones at the time of redemption. Expected to launch toward the end of Summer 2012, the flex e-gift cards can also be branded with each company's corporate identity and include personalized messages explaining why employees or customers have been rewarded.
As well as the benefits for consumers, such as flexibility and easy use, the digital delivery methods remove postage, packaging and fulfilment costs, meaning that businesses can reward customers and employees in a quick, secure and cost effective way.
