Pace plc appoints new Non-executive Director

Saltaire UK: 6 September 2012: Pace plc (pic.l) has today announced the appointment of a new Non-executive Director, Amanda Mesler. Currently President for Business Consulting at Logica plc, which was recently acquired by CGI, Amanda will join the Board of Pace with immediate effect.

Pace chairman Allan Leighton commented:

 "I'm delighted to welcome Amanda to the Pace Board. Amanda will bring a wide range of relevant strategic and operational insights to our business, especially in the areas of growth, transformation and operational excellence."

There are no matters in connection with this appointment to be disclosed under paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

Amanda joined Logica in 2007 as CEO, North America and was appointed to the Executive Committee in January 2010 when she relocated to London as the Chief Client Officer at Logica, with responsibility for leading global sales, account management, brand and marketing, communications and PR and innovation. Prior to joining Logica, Amanda was a corporate officer and VP of Strategy and Organisation Design for Fortune 100 level food service corporation, SYSCO. Prior to this Amanda was a senior partner at BearingPoint Consulting (formerly KPMG Consulting) working out of Houston where she led a client portfolio including many leading oil companies and spent time as the Global Leader for Energy for EDS. Her early career was with GE as the Asia Pacific Market Manager with particular responsibility for developing manufacturing and supply chain co-production facilities in China in connection with GE's electric vehicle programmes.
