In compliance with Rule 13.51(4) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (HKSE), Standard Chartered PLC (the Company) today submitted to the HKSE an announcement regarding the resignation of KPMG LLP (KPMG) as the Company's auditor from 31 March 2020. The Board will appoint Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as the Company's auditor to fill the vacancy following the resignation of KPMG. The appointment of EY will be put to shareholders at the Company's 2020 Annual General Meeting to be held on 6 May 2020.
