Preliminary results of Placing and Offer for Subscription of C Shares

The Board of HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited ('HICL' or the 'Company'), is pleased to announce that the Placing and Offer for Subscription of up to 80,000,000 C Shares (the 'Issue') has now closed and that the Issue was substantially over-subscribed. As a result, a partial scaling back will be applied to applications received in accordance with the principles set out in the Prospectus.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
