RF Applications secures orders for Fibre Optics systems in Asia
Stanelco plc is pleased to announce its RF Applications division has signed orders for £0.75m to supply several induction furnace systems and associated equipment to leading customers in Asia.
This follows a reinvigoration of the RF Applications division, which reported annual sales to the year ended 31 December 2008 of £1.1m. Although not material to the Group's overall earnings, these orders underpin the continuing growth of the RF Applications division, and follow another order for furnace systems secured earlier this year.
The orders will be delivered over the next six months and are further evidence of both the strength of the fibre optic cable market, particularly in Asia, and Stanelco's product capability in this area.
Recently the RF Applications team has been strengthened through management and sales staff appointments, who are introducing new products, driving support services and filling the new sales pipeline.
