QVC Order Announcement

The Board of Ila (AIM: ILA), is pleased to announce the receipt of its first purchase order from QVC, one of the UK's leading television sales network. This is a new sales channel for the company and also represents the first order for the Pebble, Ila's latest offering in its growing range of products.

Ila already sells its security products via a number of high street names internationally and has always recognised that television sales networks represent a fantastic sales platform and an ideal route to market for its products. QVC is the largest television sales network in the UK and has a major presence in the US and Europe. This order for both the Dusk and Pebble gives the Company an opportunity to reach a wide range of consumers and potential to expand through this channel internationally.

QVC is currently preparing to go to air in July/August 2010 with Ila's Jacqui Hames, the well-known former presenter of Crimewatch, co-presenting the products during the part of the programme currently planned to be dedicated to the selling of the Ila Dusk and Ila Pebble.

The Pebble is a compact key ring alarm that emits a 130dB siren making it easily available to hand. It is smaller in size than the existing Ila Dusk and has a lower price point, making it more of an impulse purchase and giving it a wider target audience.

Simon McGivern, Chief Executive Officer of Ila, commented: "The response to the Pebble has been tremendously encouraging. It is an ideal complement to the Dusk, with retailers appreciating the different market it addresses.

The fact that QVC have seen both the Pebble and the Dusk as products that will sell well through its TV sales channel gives Ila increased credibility. Our growing range opens up new retailers and increases our prospective target markets."
