Sound Oil PLC27 June 2006 Sound Oil plc Grant of options Sound Oil plc ("Sound Oil" or the "Company") (AIM: SOU), the upstream oil andgas company, announces that on 26 June 2006 (as disclosed in its recentadmission document) it made the following option grants to directors of theCompany: Gerry Orbell (Chairman and Chief Executive) was granted options over1,400,000 Sound Oil ordinary shares; and Tony Heath (Finance Director) wasgranted options over 700,000 Sound Oil ordinary shares. The options areexercisable at a price of 7.25p per share (the price of the recently announcedplacing by the Company) at any time between six months and six years after thedate of grant.
