OCEAN POWER TECHNOLOGIES TO ANNOUNCE FIRST QUARTER RESULTS
AND HOST AUDIO WEBCAST
Pennington, NJ - September 2, 2009 - Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTT and London Stock Exchange AIM: OPT) ("OPT" or "the Company") advises that it will be announcing its results for the first quarter ended July 31, 2009 on Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
Further, the Company will host an audio webcast to review its first quarter results and related matters on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (3:00 p.m. British Summer Time).
