Star Energy Group PLC15 November 2006 Star Energy Group plc OPERATIONAL UPDATE DENMARK Star Energy is participating in an exploration well onshore Denmark, in whichStar Energy have a 20% interest. The operator, Tethys, released the following: "The exploration well in Karlebo, onshore Denmark, has reached a depth of 2489metres after having encountered problems at 1916 metres, forcing a sidetrack tobe drilled below the 7"casing shoe. Electrical logs will now be run in the holebefore any additional work will be undertaken. So far no significant shows ofhydrocarbons have been detected while drilling.
