Operational Update
Golden Saint (AIM: GSR)is pleased to announce that the ongoing bulk sampling exercise in Tongo has produced a diamond of 9.65 carats (in addition to the clear white diamond of 9.475 carats which was announced in our Operational Update of 27 April 2015) and also a 0.775 carat stone that is very clear.
Pictures of these two stones can be found on our website, www.goldensaintresources.com. Besides this, another 135 carats of smaller stones have also been recovered over the last three weeks. The Company is delighted to see this result, from what was a short exercise with modest tons of gravel being processed. Gravel extraction in the next phase will go to a deeper level.
Due to the commencement of the rainy season, which will last for several months and which causes the rivers to rise, the Explore One has been moved to higher ground at the Tongo site, so that it can continue to wash during the rainy season.
Cyril D'Silva, Executive Chairman commented: "The relocation of the Explorer One means the Company will still be able to continue operations on the ground during what is traditionally a quieter period. The Explorer One, which was purchased by GSR in January 2014, is easy to operate and has security devices to prevent theft of the production."
