Operational Update - Airborne Geophysical Survey Completed for the Sierra Leone Exploration Licence Areas
Golden Saint is pleased to announce the completion of a high resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric MAG survey over the Company's three exploration licence areas in eastern Sierra Leone,by Canadian geophysical contractors, Geotech Airborne Limited.
The 5,405 line km geophysical survey was completed over an area of approximately 340 km² covering the Company's core holdings at Tongo, Moa and Baja, on a 100 metre line spacing and at a mean terrain clearance of 100 metres.
The geophysical survey is a key element of the initial exploration program and will provide focus in both identification and prioritisation of structural gold and kimberlite targets for ongoing and future exploration programs.
The survey processing and interpretation is expected to be finalised within approximately 6 weeks of completion of the survey.
Nick Burn, CEO of Golden Saint, commented "this airborne survey is an important step in the Company's long term exploration strategy, allowing us to focus on priority targets in our exploration licence areas within the highly prospective Sierra Leone diamond fields."
The Company would like to acknowledge the National Minerals Agency and Sierra Leone authorities for their support of the Company's airborne geophysical survey program.
