Kazakhmys PLC11 August 2006 11 August 2006 Kazakhmys PLC - Change in Director of Kazakhmys Corporation LLC Kazakhmys PLC announces today that Mr Ruslan Yun, the Chief Executive of itsoperating subsidiary in Kazakhstan, has decided to retire from his position andwill be succeeded by Mr Eduard Ogay at the end of August 2006. Mr Ogay hasworked in a number of positions within the Kazakhmys Group, and most recently,has been the Corporate Development Director of Kazakhmys PLC. To ensure anorderly transition of responsibilities, Mr Yun will act as Senior Adviser to MrOgay.
