OJSC "Magnit" Announces the Opening of the 6000th Convenience Store
Krasnodar, December 29, 2012: OJSC "Magnit" (the "Company"; MICEX and LSE:MGNT) is pleased to announce the opening of the 6000th convenience store.
Please be informed that today the Company opened its 6000th convenience storelocated at 152/1 Leninskiy Prospect, Moscow. The total space of the store is649 sq. m. and its selling space is 408 sq. m. The outlet is leased by theCompany.
As of December 29, 2012 the Company operates 50 convenience stores and 3cosmetics stores in Moscow city.
In total, the Company operates 6 825 stores and this is comprised of 6 000convenience stores, 679 cosmetics stores, 126 hypermarkets and 20 MagnitFamily.

As of September 30, 2012 Magnit operated an in-house logistics systemconsisting of 17 distribution centers, employing automated stock replenishmentsystems and a fleet of 4,082 vehicles.
In accordance with the reviewed IFRS consolidated financial statements for 1H2012, the Magnit recorded consolidated revenues of approximately $6.7 billionUSD and a consolidated EBITDA of $671 million USD.
