Opening Day for Newry Plant
Kedco plc, (AIM:KED)the renewable energy group focusing on the production of clean energy in the UK and Ireland, today announces that it will hold the opening day for its plant in Newry, Co Down, Northern Ireland on 27 June 2012. This will mark the exportation of power to the grid from the biomass electricity and heat generation plant.
Gerry Madden, CEO of Kedco, commented:
"It is very satisfying to see the progress being made at the Newry Plant. We look forward to the opening of the Newry Plant on 27 June. This is a significant event for the Company and marks Kedco's turning point from being solely a clean energy project developer to a clean energy producer."
