Tribal Group PLC19 December 2005 19 December 2005 Tribal Group plc Opening of third treatment centre Tribal Group plc (the "Group") is pleased to announce the opening by MercuryHealth, the Group's healthcare delivery business, of its treatment centre inPortsmouth today. The new facility, which is Mercury Health's largest centre todate, has a planned annual capacity of 6,500 daycase surgical procedures, 10,500diagnostic investigations and up to 50,000 attendances at its minor injuriesunit. The Portsmouth centre is the third Mercury Health facility to open on time andto budget. Mercury Health's fourth centre, an elective orthopaedic centre inHaywards Heath, is on track for opening in July next year. As previously announced, Mercury Health has been shortlisted for a number ofregional contracts in the Phase 2 diagnostics procurement and has submittedpreliminary bids for several schemes in the Phase 2 elective surgeryprocurement. In addition, Mercury Health Primary Care has recently beenshortlisted for a number of primary care pilot schemes.
