Ooredoo Appoints New Acting Chief Executive Officer for Ooredoo Kuwait

Doha, Qatar, 4 March, 2020: Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. ("Ooredoo") - Ticker ORDS - announced the appointment of Mr. Fadi Kawar as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Kuwait, as of 8 March 2020.

Mr. Fadi Kawar succeeds Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Thani, who had held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Ooredoo Kuwait since 2014 and has successfully led the company to reach key milestones and substantially increase its share in the Kuwaiti market.

Mr. Fadi has over 30 years of professional experience in the telecommunications sector and was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Ooredoo Kuwait. Prior to joining Ooredoo, he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in Jordan.
