Cape PLC13 December 2007 Cape PLC ('Cape' or the 'Company') CAPE PLC RECOMMENDED ALL-CASH OFFER FOR PCH GROUP LIMITED - OFFER UPDATE 13 December 2007 Following the announcement on 26 November 2007 that Cape's recommended offer forPCH Group Limited ('PCH') (the 'Offer') had become unconditional, Cape ispleased to announce that its subsidiary, Cape Australia Investments Pty Limited,has a relevant interest in over 90% of the shares in PCH. The Offer Period under the Offer will not be further extended and will end at5.00pm Perth time on 20 December 2007. As soon as possible following the end ofthe Offer Period, Cape will proceed with the compulsory acquisition of thoseshares in PCH that have not been accepted into the Offer before the end of theOffer Period.
