Launch of benchmark size senior secured notes

 

 

Heathrow Finance plc announces the launch, subject to market conditions, of an offer of a benchmark size senior secured notes issue due 1 March 2024 (the "Notes").

 

The Notes will pay a fixed rate of interest and interest will be payable semi-annually in arrear from 1 March 2019. The Notes are expected to be rated Ba3 by Moody's and BB+ by Fitch. The notes will rank pari passu with all of the existing indebtedness of Heathrow Finance. The Notes are expected to be issued on or around 7 November 2018.

 

The proceeds of the Notes will be used by the Heathrow group to partially repay existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.

 

The Notes are expected to be listed on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admitted to trading on the regulated market of the London Stock Exchange.

 

BNP, Credit Suisse, ICBC and ING are acting as Joint Global Co-ordinators and Joint Bookrunners on this note issue.
