O2: A new concept of household services

Internet at home and with it, for a few more crowns, internet on the road, television with a wide range of channels, unlimited calling in fixed or mobile networks, or all of these services together? O2 is now offering its services separately as well as in customizable combinations. In the framework of a brand new concept of services that the company is launching on May 11, 2009, it will be possible to choose from a widely varied portfolio of fixed and mobile services freely, and with huge savings.

"We are continuing to work with our quality services; the difference lies in the ways in which they can be combined. We decided to unpack the service bundles. We believe that today customers can mix their services themselves according to their wishes. There is no reason to prevent them from doing so," says José Perdomo, Vice-President, Telefónica O2, adding, "We are providing customers with new options together with a more attractive pricing policy that we feel is undisputedly the best offer on the market. For instance, who else offer high-speed mobile internet access for just 150 crowns per month?"

The basic services of the new concept are high-speed O2 Internet, O2 TV digital television, and O2 Calling voice services - voice tariffs for calling from home. Customers can then spice up these services with free Bonus Services (with digital TV channels or free calling between mobile numbers) and Add-on Services, which they can get at discounted prices. The choice of Add-on Services is entirely up to the customer.

Another new feature is a CZK 100 discount on the monthly fee for O2 Internet services, or for O2 TV digital television. This discount applies to customers who currently use the unlimited O2 NEON mobile tariffs.

Existing customers

All existing O2 Internet ADSL, O2 TV, or service bundle customers will be able to enjoy the benefits of the new menu. From May 11, the services they are now using will be gradually integrated into the new structure of services. A recently prepared algorithm is ensuring that these customers will continue to receive the same services for the same price as, or less than, before. As soon as existing customers have their services integrated into the new structure, they can order Bonus and Add-on Services just like new customers. The changes will be carried out automatically and customers will be informed of them in writing. The new form of offers required fundamental modifications to our internal systems.

A special website at will provide detailed information about the new structure of services from May 11, 2009. At this site, customers will find a complete overview of all services, as well as information about the integration of current services into the new structure.
