NOVATEK SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH SG-TRANS
FOR TRANSPORTATION OF LPG
OAO NOVATEK ("NOVATEK" and/or the "Company") today announced that the Company's First Deputy CEO Mikhail Popov and SG-Trans General Director S.A. Nikitayev have signed an agreement whereby SG-Trans will transport NOVATEK's liquefied petroleum gas ("LPG"), produced at the Purovsky Gas Condensate Processing Plant, using SG-Trans rail tank cars. The agreement is for five years and may be extended at the end of that period.
The agreement with SG-Trans will enable NOVATEK to meet its future transportation requirements related to LPG sales volumes which, are delivered to consumers in the Russian Federation, CIS and export markets.
