Notification of transaction in shares by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

The Company has been notified that Jackie Youell, wife of Chris Youell (a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person disclosing managerial responsibility within the Company), sold 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 125.7 pence per share on 2 March 2012.
