FINAL DIVIDEND 2012/13

NOTIFICATION OF STERLING DIVIDEND PAYMENT AMOUNT

On 22 May 2013 the Directors of Cable & Wireless Communications Plc recommended a final dividend of US 2.67 cents per share. Subject to shareholder approval on the 25 July 2013, the dividend is to be paid on 9 August 2013 to shareholders of record on 31 May 2013.

The default currency for payment of the cash dividend to shareholders is GBP sterling.

Sterling dividends payable in cash will be converted at the prevailing UK sterling to US dollar exchange rate at 2pm BST on 18 July 2013 (£1 = US$ 1.5192). Accordingly, the amount of sterling dividend payable in cash on 9 August 2013 will be 1.7575 pence per share.
