ANNOUNCEMENT

Notification of Major Interest in Shares

GPG announces that it has received notifications from two shareholders in respect of their shareholdings in GPG following disposals of GPG's ordinary shares ("Shares").

GPG is informed in the first notification that following disposals, on 19 July 2012 Tan Chin Tuan Pte Ltd ("TCTPL") - formerly known as Tan Chin Tuan Limited - directly or indirectly held 87,803,327 Shares, representing 5.41% of the total voting rights in GPG.

GPG is also informed in a second notification that, of TCTPL's holding of Shares the subject of the first notification, Dr Mrs Chew Kheng Lian directly or indirectly held on 20 July 2012 43,238,076 Shares, so that her personal interest in the total voting rights in GPG has fallen below 3%.
