NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

eServGlobal Limited (the "Company") received notification on 19 September 2008 that, on 18 September 2008, Gartmore Investment Limited acquired 1,631,756 ordinary shares of no par value in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). As a result, Gartmore Investment Limited now has an interest in 20,580,490 Ordinary Shares, representing 12.00% of the Company's issued share capital. The number of voting rights is also 20,580,490.
