Creon Corporation Plc ("Creon", "Company" or the "Group") NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

The Directors of Creon Corporation (AIM: CRO) have been notified on 14 January 2009 that Loxdale Limited ("Loxdale") have acquired a further 223,858 ordinary shares in the Company. Loxdale now hold a total of 3,473,858 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company.

Loxdale's holding in the Company represents approximately 12.4% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
