Creon Corporation Plc ("Creon", "Company" or the "Group") NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

The Directors of Creon Corporation (AIM: CRO) have been notified on 3 February 2009 that Loxdale Ltd ("Loxdale") have acquired an additional 3,473,858 ordinary shares in the Company, taking its total holding to 6,947,716 ordinary shares in the Company. Loxdale's holding in the Company now represents approximately 15.79% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

The Directors of the Company have also been notified on 3 February 2009 that Westminster Asset Management Ltd ("Westminster") have acquired an additional 1,500,000 ordinary shares in the Company, taking its total holding to 3,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Westminster's holding in the Company now represents approximately 6.82% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
