NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

In accordance with the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules, Lookers plc (the Company) hereby advises that:-

The Company was notified on 24 July 2009 that following a transaction on 23 July 2009, Trefick Limited now has a holding of 81,724,910 ordinary shares of 5p in the Company or 21.31% of the Company's Issued Share Capital. This total includes contracts for difference on 21,506,554 shares or 5.61%.
