Performance Share Plan Awards On 4 July 2006, under the terms of the Helical Bar plc Performance Share Plan2004 approved at the Annual General Meeting of 28 July 2004, the following shareawards were made to the directors of the Company: Michael Slade 391,304 sharesNigel McNair Scott 244,565 sharesGerald Kaye 210,326 sharesMichael Brown 210,326 shares 2. Share Incentive Plan The Company was informed on 4 July 2006 that on that date, under the rules ofthe Helical Bar plc Share Incentive Plan ("the Plan"), Helical Bar TrusteesLimited had awarded shares to directors and employees of the Company and, usingcontributions to the Plan by directors and employees, had purchased additionalshares matched in a ratio of 2:1 by the Company. On 4 July 2006 26,190 shareswere awarded to directors and employees at the closing mid-market price on 3July 2006 of 368.0p in accordance with the Plan rules.
