02 February 2010 Kefi Minerals plc ("KEFI" or the "Company") Notification of Interest

In accordance with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules KEFI Minerals has today received the following notifications of current interests in the voting rights in the Company's share capital:

City Equities Limited acquired 8,500,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), purchased by way of Placing participation, announced by KEFI Minerals on 22 January 2010. This holding represented 3% of the total number of shares in issue and 3% of the total voting rights in the Company. On 27 January 2010, City Equities sold 8,500,000 Ordinary Shares. City Equities Limited now holds no Ordinary Shares and no longer holds a notifiable interest in the Company.
