Notification of Filing of Accounts

Cable & Wireless COMMUNICATIONS plc

Cable & Wireless Communications Plc will today file interim company accounts at Companies House for the period from 1 April 2010 to 29 June 2010. The interim accounts, which are not audited, have been produced solely to enable the Company to comply with technical accounting and legal requirements following the demerger earlier in the year, in order to enable the Company to declare a dividend.

The interim accounts are in respect of Cable & Wireless Communications Plc only and are not consolidated group accounts. The interim accounts do not therefore show profits or earnings on a group basis.
