Notification of Director/PDMR Shareholding
Travis Perkins plc (the "Company") announces that John Carter, a director of the Company and Chief Operating Officer, was granted a nil cost option over ordinary 10p shares of the Company ("Shares") on 10 November 2009. The grant of the nil cost option is a one-off award made pursuant to Listing Rule 9.4.2(2) and may only be satisfied by the transfer of existing shares.

The award will normally vest as follows: one third in 2013, one third in 2014 and one third in 2015 subject to the satisfaction of certain performance conditions relating to margin improvements and strategic initiatives which John Carter will be accountable for delivering and which will be measured and assessed by the Remuneration Committee. Following vesting, the nil cost option shall remain exercisable for a period of 10 years from the date of grant. The other terms of the award shall be substantially the same as set out in the Travis Perkins 2007 Performance Share Plan.
