Notification of Contract Award Recommendation

21st Century Technology plc (AIM: C21), the specialist provider of tailored solutions to the transport community, solving complex operational requirements both on and off vehicle, announces that the Company has been made aware that, following a competitive tender process, the City of Edinburgh Council (the "Council") will be recommending, at a meeting of the Council's Finance and Resources Committee on 10 October 2019, the award of a contract to 21st Century for the provision of a real time passenger information system for the Edinburgh bus network (the "Contract"). The details of the Contract award recommendation have been made publicly available on the Council's website. There can be no certainty at this time that the Contract will be entered into and at this time it is still subject to Council approval and final Contract agreement.

If awarded, the Contract is expected to be for a value of c.£2.9 million over an initial 5-year period with the option for two four-year extension periods. The Group will make further announcements in relation to the Contract in due course.
