Anthony Fry, Chairman of Dairy Crest, said today:
"Carole has made an outstanding contribution to Dairy Crest during her years on the Board and we have been fortunate to have the unstinting commitment of a business leader with such international stature. My colleagues and I wish her well in her expanding global portfolio.
This continues to be a challenging environment for the dairy industry in which, as recent announcements have demonstrated, the company continues to perform well in a difficult market.
We are therefore delighted to welcome Richard and Stephen who, in joining the Board, bring with them significant, valuable experience of the agricultural, grocery, food and drink sectors, along with other FMCG businesses. Their balance of skills in the agricultural, regulatory, private equity and public company environments will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and add additional depth to the Dairy Crest Board."
