Notification of Award under the Public Equity Plan

The Company announces the following dealing by a director in respect of the Company's ordinary shares of 0.1p each.

On 3 April 2012, the Company granted the following award under the Biome Technologies plc Public Equity Plan (the "PEP") approved by shareholders on 14 June 2010.

The award will vest on 3 October 2014 (or 3 October 2013, if the Company's Remuneration Committee sees fit) to the extent that a performance condition relating to the Company's total shareholder return ("TSR") is satisfied and providing a financial underpin is met.
