Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) (Base Resources) advises that it has today received the following notifications.

M&G Investment Management Limited (M&G) has notified the company that it and its related bodies corporate have ceased to have a relevant interest in Base Resources ordinary shares, with M&G no longer having any voting rights or investment direction with respect to Base Resources ordinary shares. M&G and its related bodies corporate previously had a relevant interest in 69,515,366 Base Resources ordinary shares, and are no longer significant shareholders for the purposes of the AIM Rules for Companies.

Wellington Management Group LLP (Wellington) has notified the company that it and its related bodies corporate have acquired a relevant interest in 69,515,366 Base Resources ordinary shares representing 6.17% of total Base Resources ordinary shares. Wellington and its related bodies corporate are now significant shareholders for the purposes of the AIM Rules for Companies.

Base Resources understands the above notified changes follow a change of management of the Vanguard Precious Metals and Mining Fund (which will be renamed to the Vanguard Global Capital Cycles Fund).
