17th March, 2009 Daily Mail and General Trust plc (`DMGT') Notice of Trading Update and of Half Yearly Results

DMGT will make a pre-close trading statement on the morning of Monday 23rd March, prior to an Investor Day for City analysts and institutions.

DMGT intends to announce its results for the half year to 29th March, 2009 on the morning of Thursday 21st May, 2009.
