13 April, 2012 Daily Mail and General Trust plc (`DMGT') Notice of Trading Update and of Half Yearly Results

DMGT will release a Trading Update for the six months to end of March 2012 on the morning of Tuesday 17 April, 2012. This will be followed by a conference call with City analysts at 8.00 am, details of which will be set out in the statement.

This Trading Update is in advance of DMGT's Investor Day which is being held on Wednesday 18 April, 2012.

The announcement of DMGT's half yearly results will be made on the morning of Thursday 24 May, 2012.
