21 March, 2011 Daily Mail and General Trust plc (`DMGT') Notice of Trading Update and of Half Yearly Results

DMGT will release a pre-close trading update on the morning of Monday 28 March, ahead of its half year ending on Sunday 3 April, 2011. This will be followed by a conference call with City analysts at 9 am, details of which will be set out in the statement, and by an Investor Day for City analysts and institutions that afternoon.

The announcement of DMGT's half yearly results will be made on the morning of Thursday 26 May, 2011.
