Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) (Base Resources) advises that it has today received the following notification.

Vanguard Global Capital Cycles Fund (formerly the Vanguard Precious Metals and Mining Fund) (Vanguard) has notified the company that it has reduced its relevant interest in Base Resources ordinary shares following the sale of 22,000,000 ordinary shares for A$0.24 per share on 31 October 2018. 

Following the sale referred to above, Vanguard had a relevant interest in 4.07% of total Base Resources ordinary shares on issue, constituting a significant shareholding for the purposes of the AIM Rules for companies.

Base Resources understands that the above notified change follows the change of relevant interest notified by Wellington Management Group LLP on 2 November 2018, which entity manages Vanguard’s interest in Base Resources (refer further to the company’s AIM release on 2 November 2018).
