Announcement date for 2010 First Quarter Results

Dublin, London 27 April, 2010: Smurfit Kappa Group plc ('SKG' or the 'Group'), one of the world's largest integrated manufacturers of paper-based packaging products with operations in Europe and Latin America, today announced that it will release 2010 first quarter results on Friday, 7 May, 2010 at 07.00 BST (02.00 ET).
The Smurfit Kappa senior management team will discuss 2010 first quarter financial performance with analysts & institutional investors on a conference call scheduled for 08.30 BST (03.30 ET) a second call is also scheduled for 15.00 BST (10.00 ET) on that date.
Smurfit Kappa Group's Annual General Meeting will also take place on 7 May, 2010 at 10.00 BST (05.00 ET) in The Conrad Hotel, Dublin.
