Northern Petroleum Plc ("Northern" or "the Company") Notice of Interim Results & IFRS Restatement

Northern Petroleum Plc will announce its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2007, and its IFRS restated results for earlier periods, on 27 September 2007.

There will be a presentation for analysts at 1230 on 27 September at the offices of Investec Investment Banking and Securities, 2 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7QP. Analysts who are unable to attend in person will also be able to participate via conference call from 1215 that afternoon, and should contact Fran Read at Bishopsgate Communications before 1130 on 27 September for dial in information.

The results presentation will be made available on the Company's website, www.northpet.com, after commencement of the meeting.
