Announcement Date for Q2 Results

Smurfit Kappa Group plc ("SKG" or the "Group"), one of the world's largest integrated manufacturers of paper-based packaging products, with operations in Europe and Latin America, today confirmed it will release its 2012 second quarter and first half results on Wednesday, 01 August 2012 at 07.00 BST (02.00 ET).
The Group's senior management team will host a presentation, for analysts & institutional investors, at 12.30 BST (07.30 ET) on 01 August 2012, in the Kildare Room at The Westbury Hotel, Dublin 2.
Those who are unable to attend will have the opportunity to participate in the live event via conference call. There will also be a listen-only webcast of the event on the company website: www.smurfitkappa.com.
