Notice of redemption of preference shares

BELLWAY p.l.c. (the "Company") Notice of Redemption of Bellway p.l.c. 9.5% Cumulative Redeemable PreferenceShares 2014 ("Preference Shares") The Company has given notice that all the Preference Shares will be redeemed inaccordance with the Articles of Association of the Company (the "Articles") atpar on 7 April 2014 (the first business day after 6 April 2014). All fixeddividends will cease to accrue on 7 April 2014 and will be paid on 7 April 2014in accordance with the payment instructions held. The Company will apply in due course to the Financial Conduct Authority, in itscapacity as the United Kingdom Listing Authority, to cancel the listing of thePreference Shares on the Official List of the United Kingdom Listing Authority,with effect from (and including) 7 April 2014.
