Sub: Notice of Record Date for the issue of Bonus Shares
The Board of Directors of the Company has fixed November 27, 2009 as the ‘Record Date’ for determining the members of the Company who will be entitled to receive one fully paid bonus equity share for every one existing fully paid equity share of Rs.10/- each of the Company as approved by the members of the Company at the 35th Annual General Meeting held on November 17, 2009 ('Bonus Shares').
The members whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company and / or Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the Depositories as at the close of business hours in India on Friday, November 27, 2009 will be entitled to receive the said Bonus Shares.
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (‘BNYM’), the Overseas Depository of RIL GDR Facility, shall distribute bonus GDRs in proportion to the outstanding GDR holding as cut off date to be announced by BNYM.
