NOTICE OF ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
15 February 2009, Cairo, Egypt – Al Ezz Steel Rebars (“ezzsteel / Company”) notifies its shareholders that its Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (OGM) shall be held at 10.00 am on Thursday, March 5th, 2009 at the Company's production facility in Sadat City, Egypt.
The agenda is as follows:
1. Reviewing the Board of Directors’ report on the Company's activities during the fiscal period ending 30/09/2008.
2. Reviewing the Auditors’ report concerning the Company’s financial statements for the fiscal period ending 30/09/2008.
3. Approving the Company’s financial statements and the proposed interim dividend distribution plan for the fiscal period ending 30/09/2008.
The Company draws its shareholders’ attention to the following:
·; Shareholders shall have the right to attend the OGM in person or delegate by proxy any other shareholder who is not a member of the Board of Directors to be their representative, provided that such proxy shall be in writing.
·; Shareholders wishing to attend are required to present a statement of account issued by the authorized custodian evidencing ownership of the shares attached to a certificate issued by the authorized custodian evidencing the freezing of the shareholder account until the Meeting closing date.
·; Any inquiries concerning the above mentioned Agenda must be submitted in writing at the head office of the Company at 10, Shehab Street, Mohandessin, no later than three days before the Meeting is convened.
·; Shareholders should be present at least half an hour before the time at which the meeting is convened and submit their proof of identity for registering their attendance.
