Chariot (UK) PLC08 March 2006 Chariot (UK) plc Notification of Meeting with Charity Partners Chariot (UK) plc, the company behind the new charities lottery, announces thatit will today be meeting with its Charity Partners to discuss the lottery'sforthcoming launch and supporting marketing strategy. Chariot now has over 65 Charity Partners, which cover a wide range of sizes andcauses. Charity Partners include large charities such as Barnardo's, BritishHeart Foundation, British Red Cross and Macmillan Cancer Relief, as well assmaller charities including DebRA, Rainbow Trust, War Child and Whizz Kidz. All Charity Partners participating in the new lottery have committed to actively support and market the lottery to their various members, supporters andvolunteers. The new lottery, which launches in the first half of 2006, aims to raise inexcess of £100m per year for its Charity Partners, which will receive 30% ofevery ticket sold - this is a larger percentage than the National Lottery. Players benefit from better odds of winning a jackpot and jackpot winners areguaranteed each week.
