Verona Pharma plc Notice of Interest

12 November 2012 - London, UK - Verona Pharma plc (AIM: VRP.L) (the "Company") announces that it received notification on 9 November 2012 that, following the acquisition of 530,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), Investec Wealth & Investment Limited has an indirect interest in 40,352,500 Ordinary Shares, which represents 13.14 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.
