("Great Eastern" or "the Company" or "GEECL")

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DELIST FROM LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE

The Directors of Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited (LSE: GEEC) hereby give notice of their intention to request the UK Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") to cancel the standard listing of the Company's Global Depository Receipts ("GDRs") (ISIN US39032T1060) on the Official List of the FCA, and to request the London Stock Exchange ("LSE") to cancel the admission to trading of the GDRs on the main market for listed securities of the LSE (together, the "Cancellation of Listing").

The Company has decided to request the voluntary Cancellation of Listing as the volume of trading of the GDRs on the LSE is negligible and does not justify the costs related to such listing and trading.

Pursuant to Listing Rule 5.2.8, the Company is required to give at least 20 business days' notice of the intended Cancellation of Listing. Therefore, it is intended that the Cancellation of Listing will become effective from 16:30 (GMT) on 21 April 2023, such that the last day of trading of the GDRs on the LSE would be 21 April 2023.

Following the Cancellation of the Listing, the GDRs will become unlisted securities.
