Notice of General Meeting
Nighthawk Energy plc (the "Company"), the US focused hydrocarbon production and development company, announces that a circular incorporating a notice of a General Meeting will be posted to shareholders today. The meeting will be held at the offices of Osborne Clarke, One London Wall, London EC2Y 5EB at 11.00 a.m. on 14 August 2009. The purpose of the meeting is to seek approval from shareholders for the directors to allot ordinary shares and to disapply pre-emption rights in respect of the conditional placing announced on 24 July 2009.
